DHI Australia to sponsor upcoming AMSA conference

The Australian Marine Science Association (AMSA) will be hosting its Golden Jubilee conference on the Gold Coast, Queensland from 7-11 July 2013. DHI Australia will be a Bronze Sponsor for the upcoming event.

The Australian Marine Science Association (AMSA) will be hosting its Golden Jubilee conference on the Gold Coast, Queensland from 7-11 July 2013. DHI Australia will be a Bronze Sponsor for the upcoming event.

At this conference, we will host a session titled ‘Agent-based modelling and habitat modelling as tools for marine ecosystem management and monitoring’. Please note: the deadline for abstract submissions is 15 March 2013 (no extensions possible).

In addition, we will be conducting a one-day workshop on ecological response modelling held in connection with the conference. The venue will be at Griffiths University. 

At this Jubilee conference, AMSA aims to:

  • highlight achievements in Australian marine sciences
  • demonstrate the current state of knowledge
  • reflect on global perspectives
  • evaluate long-term data series
  • assess lessons from historical ecology \
  • explore how well we are equipped with knowledge, human and technical capabilities to address future needs
